Niehoff
Endex North America, Inc., a subsidiary of Niehoff Gruppe,
was born in July 1999 as the result of the combination
of Niehoff of America, Inc. and Endex.
Niehoff of America began supplying service to Canada,
the United States and Mexico in 1985 and in 1991 the
company celebrated the opening of its new training and
demonstration facility in Swedesboro, NJ. The newly
formed company now employs approximately thirty-five
people at its Swedesboro, NJ facility which consists
of a fifty thousand square feet located on eight acres
in the Pureland Industrial Park in South Western New
Jersey. This facility is used for the full operation
of the Niehoff Operations: Sales, Service , Engineering
and Manufacturing. It houses Niehoff Endex demo wire
production equipment. Our Engineering Department supports
customers’ special requests and answers their
particular needs and demands.
Endex, most recently known as Bekaert Engineering of
North America, has gained a well-deserved reputation
in the North American market since it’s founding
in 1978. The company has operated as part of Bekaert
Corporation from 1993 to 1999.
An extensive Customer Service department offers assistance
from the New Jersey facilities to the North American
Territory. Our Resident Service Engineers handle new
equipment commissioning, customers’ personnel
training, and equipment troubleshooting as well preventive
and defective maintenance support. In addition to the
demonstration equipment, Niehoff Endex North America
also stocks most commonly used spare parts that are
available for immediate delivery. A competent staff
supports our customers in identifying and supplies the
required spare parts.
The Service department also provides over fifteen preventive
maintenance service contracts with North America’s
largest wire companies. Advanced remote diagnostic capabilities,
via telephone modems designed into the equipment’s
electrical controls, allow for quick and precise troubleshooting.
Niehoff’s products include rod breakdown machines,
single and multi-wire drawing machines (2 to 28 wires
per system), automatic pack coilers for bare, plated
and insulated wire, ultra fine wire drawing machines,
continuous resistance annealers, spoolers, re-spoolers,
coilers, double twist bunching machines, dynamic and
static payoffs, tin electroplating systems, the NIEHOFF
packaging system for insulated cable or bare wires,
lubricant supply and filtration systems, and automation
of all wire production processes. The company is capable
of supplying one hundred percent turnkey production
systems in North America.
